Focus Group Facility
The UMD Center for Economic Development's Focus Group Facility in Duluth, Minnesota offers individuals, businesses and organizations a fully equipped, state-of-the-art location from which to collect opinions from customers or other targeted groups.
The Focus Group Facility offers:
- Spacious, private room with capacity for 24 participants.
- Comfortable client viewing room.
- State-of-the-art video and audio systems.
- Interactive TV (ITV) for off-site client viewing.
A Rental Fee of $400* includes:
- Use of facility for 2 hours.
- Host/hostess.
- Videotape of the session.
Optional customized services are also available.
*PLEASE NOTE: The fee does not include recruiting participants or hiring a facilitator. We do not provide those services.

The Focus Group Facility is a great place to gather focus groups from northeastern Minnesota, northwestern Wisconsin or other regions within the Upper Midwest.
Located in downtown Duluth's Technology Village, which overlooks Lake Superior and is situated at the gateway to Minnesota's North Shore and Iron Range communities, your focus group participants will appreciate the convenience of an adjacent parking ramp as well as easy access to Interstate 35 and the Duluth International Airport.
